In view of my anthropometric data, rarely I can find to wear something comfortable enough. I’m 193 cm (6.3ft) and 85 kg (13.4st). I am a slim and tall guy. And it’s rather difficult for me to find decent clothes.
It's good that the world around me does not stand still and good people advised me to have a look at this demi-season suit Triton "Chameleon Pro”.
Waterproof Suit "CHAMELEON PRO" -5 (SoftShell, Beige/Spice Orange)
The manufacturer promises us really high-quality waterproof garment. An unrealistically steep membrane with 10k/10k waterproofness/ breathability rate, extreme weather condition -5°C, anatomical cut, convenience and functionality during fishing, hunting or outdoor activities.
As for me it sounds unreal.
But my attitude to this apparel changed as soon as it was delivered. First up, you noticed the unique branded Triton Gear pattern, the colors and design in general are really cool. Even my wife took photos of me and she really liked the suit, although she usually messes up all my clothes for fishing. Secondly, it is the material that is pleasant to the eye and feel and establishes credibility at once. Thirdly, the suit Triton "Chameleon Pro" fits like a glove. No matter what position I took, it is convenient and comfortable anyway. That is it - real anatomical cut, softness, flexibility and fabric plasticity.
The leg length on the trousers is a little bit short because I am too long-legged. So I would like my pants to be a bit longer. That aside... everything else is excellent! As for the available sizes, there are 4-5 options for each height: from 44 to 62 sizes, from 170 to 188 cm.
My back is protected from being chilled through even when I am kneeling.
The hood is neither wide nor narrow, just perfect. It is comfortable both with and without a warm hat or a baseball cap and has got a volume adjustment. The hood with a visor is large enough to provide reliable protection from rain and wind and can be zipped off if you don’t need it at all. The high stand up collar is also excellent, high and impermeable.
The two piece suit features Velcro adjustable wrist cuffs, draw card adjustable jacket bottom and zippered armpit vents.
And the zippers in the "Chameleon Pro" suit look supercool, made with high quality and protected from moisture. The branded zip toggles are a nice touch, no doubt they will be easy to use in the coldest conditions with wet hands, bonus.
Pockets are great. Roomy enough to put the keys, phone, power bank and so on.
Elasticated waist ensures the trousers have a nice fit without the risk of an uncomfortable draft ruining your day. Though the pants can be additionally fixed with a belt, they fit perfectly without it.
The lower part in pants can also be adjusted with zips to suit the shoes and weather conditions.
Weather for the weekend was in the single digits, about +8°C, and I was plenty warm. I was wearing only a sweatshirt with no long underwear and during a walk for about an hour I felt ok. I haven’t had a chance to test it in extremes. I guess, for colder temperatures you'll need to add layers. The manufacturer says extreme temperatures is -5°C, I suppose it should be in moving fashion.
I have only had it out for one weekend, but so far I am impressed. Due to the quality and comfort of this suit I plan on using the Triton "Chameleon Pro” suit for other activities than just fishing.
No regrets with my purchase, recommend to anyone considering this fishing suit!
